Bill’s branding experience spans more than two decades. His background involves serving at Landor Associates beginning as Senior Designer and concluding as Creative Director. While at Landor, Bill worked on programs including Bacardi, Danone, FedEx, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Microsoft, Motorola, NEC, Smucker’s, Sunkist, Trinchero Winery, United Airlines, University of California, and more.

Bill was born in San Francisco and is a native Californian. He studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and then worked for Michael Cronan, Michael Manwaring and, the Burdick Group before joining Landor Associates. He subsequently founded Brand Navigation in 2000 and currently serves as Principal and Creative Director.

He has continued to serve a diverse range of clients including the Annenberg Foundation, Descartes, Ghirardelli, Intel, John Maxwell, Krusteaz, Microsoft, Park Hyatt, the Roy & Patricia Disney Family Foundation, Seattle Space Needle, Sunpower, Sunnylands, Toyota, World Vision, and more.

Bill launched Brand Einstein out of his passion for branding and desire to learn and share the stories behind the great brands of the world and to celebrate the geniuses who created them.
